Looking for something new & exciting to do with the kids? @GulliversGate is the ideal experience! #MiniWorld Click To TweetLeave the Land of Large and enter an amazing new experience, located at the crossroads of the world, Times Square. A full city block wide, Gulliver’s Gate is a technologically advanced, interactive and immersive world of miniatures that will ignite your imagination and challenge your perspective.
As a born and bred New Yorker, it’s easy to be jaded and think you’ve seen it all as far as “tourist attractions” go. But Gulliver’s Gate is unlike anything I’ve seen or done in New York City. Or pretty much anywhere to be honest.
When I first saw the advertisements for Gulliver’s Gate, I knew it was something Norrin would enjoy. What’s not for a kid to love? It’s a miniature world of wonder. There’re trains and cars and boats and buildings. But it’s so much more.
Gulliver’s Gate is a miniature lifelike world that sparks imagination and enjoyment.
Upon arrival, we were provided with keys to Gulliver’s Gate. The key allows visitors to interact with the miniature world. This was one of Norrin’s favorite parts about the attraction. Not only was this a fun way to work on fine motor skills but kids will love feeling like they are controlling part of the world. Before Norrin inserted the key, I asked him to first read what the key did and they asked him to find the object.
At the end of our visit, we were able to keep our keys as souvenirs. I re-purposed mine to create a Christmas Tree ornament.
Gulliver’s Gate won’t just entertain the kids – adults will love it too.
I went with my best friend, Marlo, and her 9-year-old twins. Marlo has traveled all over the world and I laughed whenever she pointed to someplace and said, “Oh I’ve been there.” Her kids pretty much know her as mom and they were surprised to know that their mom had been to so many countries. It was an opportunity to share another side of herself. And Marlo and I loved doing the scavenger hunt – we probably enjoyed it more than the kids.
It’s definitely a place we’ll want to return to because there’ll always be something new to discover.

Would love to visit with my 14 year old son. He loves architecture and world travel, and this would be exciting for him.
