This Saturday Norrin will participate in his first Special Olympics. He had Track & Field practice over the weekend with other kids from his school.

Norrin approached one girl and asked her name. And then he asked, “Do you want to run with me?” Without waiting for a response, he grabbed her by the hand and they started walking. After a few seconds, she let go of his hand and walked away. I talked to Norrin about boundaries and respecting personal space.
But it was sweet to see Norrin’s interest in another person. And I hope one day, he finds someone who will want to hold his hand and run beside him.
