Football Sundays are big in our home and we often have friends over to watch football. When Wayfair provided the opportunity to create a “Couchgating Done Right” Idea Board, I jumped at the chance!
Couchgating: same as tailgating except the party is conducted on a sofa in front of a television with a football game playing.
Seriously? I had no idea it had a name. I’ve never been to a football game and the thought of tailgating doesn’t appeal to me. If I must be subjected to football, then let it be in the comfort of my own home.
We love entertaining on Football Sundays. And unlike holiday/special occasion entertaining – couchgating is casual.
While I don’t enjoy watching football, I do enjoy the company, camaraderie and competition. Joseph is a Giants fan, our friend Jenn cheers for the Browns and Julio roots for the 49ers. The smack talk gets pretty serious.
Wayfair has a huge selection to meet the desires of your favorite NFL fan! Joseph and I had fun creating Couchgating Done Right idea board.
We live in an apartment but I know if we had a house, Joseph’s man cave would be decked out in Giants furniture and decor.
His favorite items are the NY Giants Video Game Chair (obviously) and the NFL 9 Piece Gift Bucket Set.
My favorite item is the Melamine Chip and Dip Platter.
On Football Sundays Joseph is famous for his chicken wings and I’m known for my biscuits. And the Melamine Chip and Dip platter was perfect for our favorite football snacks.
